Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland

8 Mar

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (the book) preceded this current tale about the place that is apparently referred to by its residents as “Underland,” which, since you must fall a long way to get there, makes just about as much sense. I’ve written a review for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, but I failed to mention a couple things, like: the strange repurposing of the elements of “Jabberwocky” or Elfman’s simple, but effective score. (“Alice. Alice. Ohhh, Alice.”)

Also, I can’t remember what the Dormouse said, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t “feed your head,” because that had something to do with an airplane…and possibly psychedelic mushrooms.
