Here are some links to some of the things I’ve written about several different television shows from last year. I also posted my first thoughts on Privileged, revisited Beverly Hills with the new 90210 and expressed my doubts about where Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles is headed. …but I definitely won’t be.

I don’t get why people like Animal Collective so much because I really don’t. And their new EP doesn’t change my opinion about them at all. My Merriweather Post Pavilion review from the beginning of the year explains a bit more about my first encounter with the band. Don’t worry though, if you like Animal Collective we can still be friends…as long as you promise to never play them when I’m around.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is close to $4 billion dollars in debt and they will soon be looking for a buyer. The studio owns – among other things – the rights to the James Bond franchise, but this situation doesn’t seem to be affecting the momentum of the next film in the series. Apparently, the 23rd Bond film is already in pre-production and will start filming in the latter half of 2010. We can expect it to come out sometime in 2011 if everything goes according to plan. If you can’t wait until 2011, here is a short review for Casino Royale and my thoughts about Quantum of Solace from the end of last year. Also, if you’re really impatient and you happen to have several billion dollars lying around I’m sure you could buy MGM and get things moving a little faster.

Okay, so I decided against using this site to update my life. Maybe somebody noticed, but I doubt it.

The new (and improved!) plan is to start sharing links to the reviews that I’ve been posting on a totally different site…a totally different site with reviews about everything, from the new items at your local convenience store to the expensive wines served in upscale restaurants…located in exotic countries. The Las Vegas Critics site is one of the reasons that this particular blog has stagnated, but Secret Undersea City will soon host links to all of the reviews I’ve been writing during the time I’ve been gone. Get ready.

You do? Well…do you remember liking any of his movies? Because I don’t. And I never thought I would say this, but:

Hulu sent me an email mentioning Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and then all of a sudden I seem to have just watched it again. I guess it’s almost been a year since my last Eternal Sunshine viewing, so maybe it was time. And I can’t wait for Synecdoche, New York even though it might be overly long.
